They will each make-with their own hands-an 8-spoke drum that marks their 8 year turn of the wheel.
This drum will be a beating heart for their soul voice.
On Saturday September 7th 2024, we will gather in Forest Grove, Oregon from 11AM-5PM with our daughters for a magical and divinely inspired day of pause.
The day includes drum making, soul song activation, the creation of an initiation doll that will accompany our daughters through their budding process (that will be brought to all subsequent mother/daughter gatherings) and a surprise closing ceremony at the end of the day.

We will gather to pause & prepare our girls to cross the first of many thresholds.
They are budding in mind, body, spirit, and we get to witness in awe.

We will felt, and sing, and create with our hands, sharing a moment of magic that is sure to be remembered.
The day will end with a surprise potluck. Father's and siblings are invited to see our girls come down the hill with their drums & songs. We will create a budding flower threshold that marks their 8year rite.

Walking our daughters through these thresholds is also an opportunity to walk ourselves through portals that perhaps seemed closed or distant.
